Foodtok: share and discover halal recipes from around the world
Post a recipe in a few steps, let AI list the ingredients, and read dishes from other countries in your own language.
Halal cooking is as varied as the people who cook it: a peanut sauce from West Africa, a biryani from Hyderabad, pasta with thyme and lemon. Foodtok is the part of Halal Food where people share these recipes with each other.
Share a recipe in a few steps
Sign in to Foodtok, tap the + button and describe how you make your dish, one step at a time. A new step field appears as you type.
- No ingredient list to write: AI reads your steps and detects the ingredients.
- Add a name and a photo if you like; both are optional.
- Choose the recipe language, and let AI correct spelling mistakes if you want.
Then tap “Analyze and publish”. Your recipe appears in the feed with its photo, its ingredients and numbered cooking steps.
Read any recipe in your language
Recipes on Foodtok are written in many languages. The “Translate recipe” button shows a recipe in yours, and “Show original” brings back the author’s own words. A recipe written in French in Bamako can be read in Indonesian, Turkish or English.
Follow, like and comment

The country leaderboard
Every creator chooses a country flag for their profile. The country leaderboard ranks countries by number of users, recipes or interactions, so you can see where the community cooks the most.
A respectful space
A comment reported five times is hidden. You can delete your own posts and comments at any time, and deleting your account permanently removes your profile, recipes and comments.
Foodtok is free, like the rest of Halal Food. An account is only needed to post, comment and follow creators.
